San Antonio Commercial Real Estate Sustainability Services

Sustainable commercial development means meeting the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. While vehicles get the most attention in the conversation about sustainability, buildings actually use more energy than cars, trucks and buses combined.  At San Antonio Commercial Advisors, we focus on immediate gains in energy efficiency which will directly impact our clients’ bottom line.

COMMERCIAL REAL ESTATE LEADERSHIP

  • In 2009, San Antonio Commercial Advisors was invited to present at the Mayor’s Mission Verde Sustainability Workshop, and thereafter provide recommendations to the City of San Antonio and City Public Service on the implementation of San Antonio’s Mission Verde Master Plan.  Our situation analysis and recommendations address the “triple threat” of climate change, energy security and economic transformation.  View the Mission Verde San Antonio Situation Analysis.
  • Cushman & Wakefield is the first real estate services firm in the country to enter into a comprehensive Memorandum of Understanding with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency aimed at addressing environmental issues in the commercial real estate sector.  View the Memorandum of Understanding.
