- In 2009, San Antonio Commercial Advisors was invited to present at the Mayor’s Mission Verde Sustainability Workshop, and thereafter provide recommendations to the City of San Antonio and City Public Service on the implementation of San Antonio’s Mission Verde Master Plan. CREEA links building owners and operators with research and technologies being developed at the Department of Energy’s National Laboratories in an effort to reduce energy consumption in buildings. - Cushman & Wakefield is the first commercial real estate services firm to certify existing buildings using volume certification under the U.S. Green Building Council’s permanent LEED for Existing Buildings: Operations & Maintenance rating system. 18 certified properties comprise in excess of 8 million square feet of commercial real estate.
- Cushman & Wakefield's collaboration with clients has delivered five LEED certifications for existing buildings at the Platinum level.
Globally, Cushman & Wakefield has partnered with clients to secure LEED certification of more than 6 million square feet of commercial space, with an additional 36 million square feet registered and in progress.
